Software install links and directions

You do NOT need to install every software, please install what is needed for the program your child will be doing.

Summer 2020

Strongly recommended for ONLINE classes: Students have a second screen (tablet etc) to follow the class in addition to the computer for working. However they may need to log in to zoom via the computer every now and then to share their screen with the teacher. Having an external mouse also helps.

Roblox

  1. Install Roblox and create an account: https://www.roblox.com/
  2. Go to https://www.roblox.com/create and download + install Roblox studio.

3D Design

  1. Create an account in tinkercad

JavaScript

  1. Install Coding With Chrome extension for Google Chrome by clicking HERE
  2. Download Atom IDE from http://bit.ly/tfjavascript

Mobile Apps

  1. Students will need a personal google account
  2. Install BlueStacks from https://www.bluestacks.com
