Campers will be given broad assignments for the week with plenty of room to improvise. The direction of the camp is set by your child. They decide what to create.

Coaches join occasionally to answer questions and provide guidance as needed. Student always leads.

Students create finished Technology Products that they present to Thinking Feet at the end of their chosen period (one week, multiple weeks).

If their product is attractive and meets the high bar of Thinking Feet, we will pay them for the product for use in our classes. Their name will be sealed as the creator.

  • Start First Draft.

Phase 2

  • Finish First Draft
  • First feedback.
  • Enhance the essay structure
  • Explore alternative structures.
  • Start Second Draft.

Phase 3

  • Finish Second Draft.
  • Second feedback.
  • Enhance Active language style.
  • Enhance sentence structures and figurative language.
  • Start Third Draft.

Phase 4

  • Finish Third Draft.
  • Third feedback.
  • Enhance Active language style.
  • Enhance ingenuity, deep thought, and inner voice.
  • Start Final Draft

Phase 5

  • Finish Final Draft.
  • Final feedback.

Thinking Feet’s main learning center is located in the Ballantyne area in Mecklenburg county. We are just minutes away from nearby Blakeney, Weddington, Marvin, Waxhaw, Pineville, Wesley Chapel, Piper Glen and Fort Mill, SC.​​
