Competition Math
The journey of competition math is filled with growth, expansion of thought leadership and discovering new strengths within your child!!

Curriculum and Methodology
The exciting world of Mathematics can often be classified into theory building and/or problem solving. Of course all mathematicians solve problems, while only a few are great theory builders. Theory building involves developing repeatable solution strategies that can be applied in problem solving and the building of structures that enable us to see patterns out of what appears to be chaos.
This Competition Math program takes students in an exciting journey full of theory-building AND problem solving enrichment. It is designed to encourage children to embrace problem solving as an exciting and uplifting social activity.
Curriculum Content - Sample Problem
Elementary Level: Math Kangaroo

Elementary Level: Math Olympiad

Middle Level: MathCounts / AMC

What's the program going to be like?
- This is similar to a Math club with students coming together to collectively solve a variety of challenging math problems.
- This will not involve dedicated coaching, instead it will be a great forum for students to learn from each other and challenging each other to get better.
Who will benefit?
- Students (all grades) who love problem solving and have a high degree of persistence to create success from failure. There will be many moments in the early stages of the journey where students may be able to solve only a small portion of the problems successfully. A high degree of persistence will be needed to not only sustain through this time but also learn from their failures to eventually increase their success rate.
- Students who are willing to expand their comfort zones and push the envelope on Math Problem Solving.
- Students who plan to participate in various competition math events.
