Whether you choose to be a Volunteer or an Intern, you will receive official non-profit volunteer hours for your school requirements.
What is the Program?
A unique opportunity for students (9th grade+) to gain leadership skills, give back to the community, and engage in topics they are passionate about.
Student Volunteer
Earns Non-Profit Hours
- Flexible Schedule: No maximum hours cap.
- Commitment: Minimum 1 full week for half-day (Morning OR Afternoon).
- Provide assistance to students as needed.
- Follow directions from Instructors to provide aid.
- Perfect for those wanting a lower pressure introduction to leadership.
Student Internship
Earns Non-Profit Hours
- Leadership Focus: Must lead a teaching session under supervision.
- Commitment: 4 weeks (half-day) OR 2 weeks (full-day).
- Work on an Independent Project to aid the community.
- Create content for Social Media & Community Outreach.
- Ideal for students wanting deep experience for their resumes.
Qualifications
- Ability to help children grow in character and insight.
- Must guard the health and well-being of campers at all times.
- High energy! Capable of participating in a full or half day of activities.
- Prior experience with children or a genuine excitement to learn.
- Active decision-making and problem-solving skills.
What We Expect
- Interact: Help campers make friends and try new things.
- Collaborate: Work closely with fellow Interns and Supervisors.
- Welcome: Greet families and campers warmly upon arrival.
- Lead: Supervise groups and positively influence the next generation.
- Participate: Join in on all camp activities with enthusiasm!
