Program Structure

Based on the award winning program designed by expert coach Mr. Harrow of Ardrey Kell High. The Ardrey Kell teams under the coaching by Mr. Harrow have won many national awards including

  • Top Speaker at the 2016 World Debate Invitational
  • National Runner Up in Oral Presentations of Literature at the 2015 National Speech Championship Tournament
  • Overall Excellence in Forensics at the 2016 Grand National Forensics Tournament by being named one of the top 5 overall schools in the country
  • 6 back-to-back State Championships at the Tarheel Forensic League State Championship Tournament

Who will benefit

Students will develop the great habits and strategies of timed eye contact, projection, effective body language, art of inflection and enunciation. They will develop the art of organizing and pacing their thoughts in a more effective delivery.

Have your child get an early start in developing their command over speech, the confidence to stand in front of a crowd and lead the journey of mastering one of the most important skills in life.


Classes held in our Ballantyne Campus.

Extempore / Impromptu

Wednesdays from 5:40PM - 6:40PM.
Max 10 students in each class.
Grades 3 and up.
Reserve one or more classes,  $80 for the unit of 4 classes
No contracts or long term commitments.

Students will learn the art of mental articulation of speech and delivering using only cue cards at hand. Developing confidence in public speaking is an ongoing journey and in this unit, they take a big leap forward when delivering speeches that are not fully written down. In addition students will develop on effective strategies of public speaking including voice modulation, body language, eye contact etc.

With personalized feedback, in a very comfortable and fun learning environment will have your child develop a confident command over speech. In classes we help each other get better, have enormous shares of laughs, high fives and more.

We have offered this program in the last two years of our summer camps with great success and are now offering it as part of the school year programs.​

Thinking Feet’s main learning center is located in the Ballantyne area in Mecklenburg county in the Wingate University campus. We are just minutes away from nearby Blakeney, Weddington, Marvin, Waxhaw, Pineville, Wesley Chapel, Piper Glen and Fort Mill, SC.​​​​
