Instructor: Computer Programming

You need not be a technology pro, the tools we use are very easy to learn. Some of our Math teachers, after our training, now also teach Computer Programming.If you get excited with technology AND have a desire to learn new things, please read on

Responsibilities

Be a Computer Programming Coach and not a Coding tutor

Develop in students the love for creating technology and the logical / sequential thinking needed to build computer programs

Encourage students to THINK in different ways, TRY HARD even if they fail

Draw out individual creativity from each student

Coach students on effective planning before building Computer Programs

Build and increase confidence in students to take on new problems with a higher likelihood of success

Prepare for class with curriculum materials prepared by Thinking Feet. Optional: Contribute to creating and improving the curriculum

Your success will be defined by

Responsibilities

Coach students (elementary and middle) on Science and Engineering with an experimentation based learning model

Stimulate discussions of HOW's, WHAT's, WHY-NOT's, WHAT-IFs in the world of science and engineering while navigating through hands on experiments

Prepare for class with curriculum materials prepared by Thinking Feet. Optional: Contribute to creating and improving the curriculum

Your success will be defined by

Improving performance of students in science and engineering analysis. Ensure students retain learnings and concepts taught in addition to creating a fun and engaging classroom

A high class participation during discussions

Instructor: Creative Writing / Reading Comprehension

Responsibilities

Coach students (elementary and middle) on Creative Writing and Reading Comprehension Strategies

Draw out the imagination of students in creative writing and help build structure for their thoughts and ideas to translate into a literary product (narrative, poems, summarizations etc)

Coach on strategies to excel in Reading Comprehension skills across a variety of genres

Prepare for class with curriculum materials prepared by Thinking Feet. Optional: Contribute to creating and improving the curriculum

Your success will be defined by

Improving performance of students in reading comprehension and creative writing / adoption of superior language styles.

A high class participation during discussions
