STEM Coach - Summer Camps
As a STEM Summer Coach, you will inspire, motivate, educate students in various coding, technology, science, engineering topics in a high energy learning environment. With your high energy and enthusiasm, students will be inspired to achieve greater heights.
Responsibilities
Be a super ultra awesome STEM coach for kids in Grades 1 - 8 (classes separated by elementary, middle school)
Teach multiple coding platforms like Scratch, HTML, JavaScript based on training materials provided by Thinking Feet
Teach Science & Engineering with multiple hands on activities based on training materials provided by Thinking Feet
Encourage students to THINK in different ways, TRY HARD even if they fail
Draw out individual creativity from each student
You bring the following to the table:
Experience in one or multiple coding platforms OR a hunger and an ability to learn fast
Great with kids
Skilled at keeping a group focused on task
High energy individual who will be respected and looked up to by kids in Grades 1 - 8
Strong sense of humor
Charlotte Locations
South Charlotte OR South Park Area (multiple locations)
Class timings
Weekday mornings (9-12)/ afternoons (1-4)
